Macaíba sedia evento internacional a partir de amanhã (26) (Macaíba hosts an international event from tomorrow [26])
Evento ocorrerá no Pax Club (Event takes place at Pax Club)
A partir de amanhã (26), o
município de Macaíba sedia o II Simpósio de Neuroengenharia. O evento trará
para o município pesquisadores nacionais e internacionais que irão fazer discussões,
demonstrações práticas em pesquisas em neuroengenharia, compartilhar
conhecimentos e estreitar colaborações.
From tomorrow (26), the city of Macaíba hosts
the II Neuroengineering Symposium. The event will bring to the city Brazilian
and foreign researchers that will promote discussions, practical demonstrations
on research in neuroengineering, share knowledge and enhance collaborations.
O evento é direcionado para
graduandos e pós-graduandos nas áreas de engenharias, ciências da saúde e
biológicas. Estudantes do Ensino Médio também poderão participar. O Simpósio
também será realizado na sexta-feira (27). A programação ainda inclui
apresentação da Escola de Música de Macaíba, visita ao Solar Ferreiro Torto e "Hands On" no Instituto Internacional de Neurociências Edmond e Lily Safra.
The event targets undergraduate and graduate
students in the fields of engineering, and health and biological sciences. High
School students may also attend it. The symposium will also be conducted on
Friday (27). Moreover, the programming includes performances of the
Macaíba’s School of Music, sightseeing at Solar Ferreiro Torto Museum and
"Hands On" at Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of
Neuroscience.

por acidentes de trânsito ou doenças degenerativas.

Neuroengineering
is a knowledge field that has grown in the last few years. It gathers
neuroscience and engineering methods in order to study the operation of the
nervous system and develop solutions to the limitations and dysfunctions
associated with the aforementioned system. It may help, for example, on motor
recovery of people affected by road traffic crashes or degenerative diseases.
